Seems to me that this incident shouldn’t have been going on at this level of confusion for so long. As I reported last nigh the British have, far too late in my view, released GPS tracking data which clearly shows HMS Cornwall was within the Iraqi territorial waters she was authorized to be in. GPS evidence clears British sailors of wrongdoing
The British Navy has produced evidence to show that 15 of its sailors being held in Iran were in Iraqi waters at the time of their capture.
GPS evidence shows the HMS Cornwall was 1.7 nautical miles inside Iraqi waters when the Britons were seized.
