I’m actually a bit sad to read this. When you look at Joe Bill’s history you can see we, society, ought to have been able to do something to help this man, but perhaps he would not be helped.

Florida is one of the leaders in tracking these scary sex offenders with GPS, and critics of the program ought to read this and re-evaluate their opposition.

This guy was out of prison only 5 days when he was caught (efficiently, without significant law enforcement time and labor .. read “expense’) in a park ogling children. How scary is it that he didn’t wait even a week before going back to his scummy pursuits … and how great it is that the designed for war fighting GPS system nabbed him before there was even one child scared by this creep … let alone abused, kidnapped or murdered.

Kudos to the Florida DOC for doing what they’re paid and sworn to do instead of taking the easy way out of claiming ‘there’s no money’ that is so often heard.
